Sweet and Sour Beef & Cabbage

Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs. good ground beef
1 1/2 cups onions, chopped
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp black pepper
1 12 oz. jar Heinz Chili Sauce
1/2 cup grape jelly
2/3 cup water
1 Tbs low salt beef granules
8 cups or more cabbage, coarsely chopped
Directions:
Mix salt, black pepper, chili sauce, water, grape jelly and beef granules. Warm the mixture to dissolve the grape jelly. Set aside. Place your 12" Dutch oven over 15 briquettes. When hot, saute the onions & ground beef. Drain & remove from oven. Add about 2 inches of cabbage in bottom of oven. Place onions & beef mixture on top of that, then add enough cabbage to completely fill Dutch oven. Then pour grape jelly and chili sauce mixture over cabbage. Place oven over the 15 briquettes & place 8 briquettes on lid. Stir after 40 minutes, replace the lid and cook for another 20 minutes.
